Foil Stamping

Foil Stamping: The process of stamping or fusing foil onto paper using a heated die, bonding the design to the surface. Foils come in a variety of colors and can be matte, glossy, holographic, metallic, or clear. When combined with embossing, foil stamping creates a striking 3D image.
Foil Embossing: Stamping foil onto paper using a heated die, bonding the design to the surface. The same area is then embossed with a die, creating a three-dimensional raised area, usually text or an image.
